“We felt it was important to recognize not only our military personnel, but also the first responders who protect us and our communities,” said Museum Executive Director Christopher Orwoll.

Veterans are asked to provide proof of service with a Form DD-214 or a veteran’s identification card. Active duty service members and National Guard members will need to show a military ID card. First responders will need to show either a badge or other appropriate ID.

Free admission is for the museum only. Military discounts are offered at the New Horizons Dome Theater. The New Mexico Museum of Space History is a division of the NM Department of Cultural Affairs.
