The New Mexico Museum of Space History has two regularly scheduled closures each year on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. Additional closure days have been added in 2010 due to the statewide Governor mandated furloughs. The Museum and the Clyde W. Tombaugh IMAX Dome Theater will be closed on the following dates:

-Friday, January, 15, 2010
-Friday, March 5, 2010
-Friday, April 2, 2010
-Friday, May 28, 2010
-Thursday, November 25, 2010 -(Thanksgiving)
-Saturday, December 25, 2010 -(Christmas)

Other than the above mentioned dates, the New Mexico Museum of Space History and the Clyde W. Tombaugh IMAX Dome Theater are open seven days a week. The Museum is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. The Theater is open from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm.
