Little Joe II

Keeping astronauts safe has always been a top priority. When rocket launches go awry, spacecraft launch escape systems were developed to help astronauts land safely. Little Joe II was used to test Apollo uncrewed launches to verify the performance of the command module parachute recovery system in abort mode. You can see Little Joe II right here at the New Mexico Museum of Space History. Thanks for watching, and be sure to like and subscribe to our channel.
